Global Insurance Law Connect (GILC) announced today that Chile’s Prieto Abogados has become the latest law firm to join the GILC network. Prieto will become the 22nd member firm and strengthens the presence of the network in Latin America, joining the two existing members in Brazil and Mexico.
Prieto Abogados is one of the ten largest law firms in Chile, with 60 lawyers and 14 partners. Headquartered in Santiago, the firm serves a large body of clients in Chile and abroad. Prieto Abogados is a full-service firm, advising insurance clients on (re)insurance, construction, and D&O, among other areas.
Prieto was named in the Legal 500 as a leading firm in Latin America in 2022 and was top ranked globally in the 2022 Chambers rankings.
