Join us on 22 June for BLM hosted product liability seminar which will focus on recent developments, emerging risks and also consider the perils of litigating in the USA. Jim Sherwood, Partner and head of product liability at BLM will chair this event and will be joined by expert speakers at BLM’s London office.

We are pleased to confirm that counsel David Myhill, who successfully represented the defendant in Wilkes v DePuy, will consider the implications of the judgment for producers and their insurers, and also discuss the evaluation of the EU Product Liability Directive.

Jim Glennon of US firm Foran Glennon will discuss litigating product liability actions in the USA, including challenging jurisdiction in respect of UK policyholders.

BLM experts will consider the application of recent case law to property damage claims, and also review the latest developments in respect of autonomous vehicles and emerging risks in relation to digital content.

The event will feature a panel discussion with an open Q&A session including a representative from Trading Standards.
